Mr. Pramod Kumar Mour, the founder and Director of North East Polymers,
brand WELKM is indeed a person of great virtue. With his entrepreneurial
spirit and visionary nature, after completion of graduation, his first endeavor
was to set a distribution house of solar panel which was engaged in the
business of supplying solar panel to Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited (BHEL)
from 1995 to 2000.
His chequered careered commenced when he started his first manufacturing
venture in the year 2000 that used to produce MS ingot in steel industry
segment. Later in 2003, he established second industry that was engaged in
production of ferrosilicon which was supplied to Steel Authority of India
Limited (SAIL), Tata, Jindal, Rail Wheel Factory & Usha Martin etc.
After his son’s graduation, he diversified his careerist portfolio industry and
build North East India’s largest PVC Electrical Pipe manufacturing plant in
Guwahati, Assam. In a very short span of time it accomplishes greater heights.
Being the founder of brand WELKM, he has been genuinely immersed in sales
and business development activities in the region along with fulfilling the
responsibility of budgeting for the marketing department and establishing
and maintaining cordial relations with existing as well as new customers
through regular beneficiary interactions.
His level-headed approach to tough business situations has never been able to
drag him off his vision and he is continuously striving ahead towards bringing
fruitful changes in the industry. He is associated with various socio cultural
organisations such as Guwahati Electric Merchants Association, Laghu Udyog
Bharati, Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana(VYASA) etc. He is also a
certificate holder of Merit in National Service Scheme, Merit in Youth
Leadership Training Camp.
